Our Story: A Response to Opportunity in Challenging Times
The story of Youth Media Network Pakistan is one of vision and resilience. Founded on April 18th, 2021, during the unprecedented global challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, a dedicated group of students recognized a critical need. They saw the accelerated shift towards digital platforms and the growing importance of online skills, coupled with a lack of accessible, youth-focused training initiatives in Pakistan.
Driven by a shared passion for empowering their peers, they established Youth Media Network Pakistan as a proactive response – a digital space where young people could not only acquire vital skills remotely but also connect, collaborate, and grow together despite physical distances. What began as an idea among students quickly blossomed into a thriving network.

- Flagship Projects: Successfully launched and continued impactful annual projects like the Youth Digital Festival (YDF), which has completed 5 editions, and the bi-annual Youth Digital Quiz, running since 2021.
